Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication in another journal (or has been explained in Comments to the Editor).
• Manuscript files are in Microsoft Word document format.
• References that can be accessed online have their URLs written down.
• Manuscripts are typed in single-spaced text; Times New Roman; font 11; no underlining (except for URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text in the expected place, not grouped separately at the end of the manuscript.
• Mendeley or other reference management tools are required. A minimum of 15 primary and recent references (from the last 5 years) should be included. Written in 11-point font and using IEEE format, with each reference accompanied by a DOI (reference linking) link. Using a bibliography sourced from any website is not permitted.
